Hussain Alismail - Rekindling Cultural Connections
Hussain Alismail, a visual artist and designer, has recently relocated to Melbourne to pursue his Master of Design Innovation & Technology at RMIT. He studied BFA in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University in Toronto, Canada and BCA in Visual Effects & Entertainment Design from Flinders University in Adelaide, Australia.
Alismail's creative interests lie in examining the complexities of Saudi social dynamics, and he utilizes both digital and physical platforms to give voice to everyday dialogues. His art offers a fresh perspective that encourages viewers to rethink the subtleties of human relationships and forms of expression.
Alismail is particularly motivated by journey culture, and his skillful narration of individual and community tales amplifies the diverse narratives he portrays. His art aims to rejuvenate cultural connections and promote a deeper understanding of shared human experiences.
